PROJECT: The Aeronauts
PARTNER: Amazon Studios and American Federation of Teachers (AFT)
MATERIALS CREATED: Platform organization and Humanities based lessons on the history of women in science and women in STEM. Using clips of the film for classrooms from upper elementary through high school, AFT authored a full scope of science lessons exploring the weather, layers of the atmosphere, and the physics of hot air balloons, and can be used alongside a STEM design challenge to build a hot air balloon.
