Jen Sarche is an experienced educator and non-profit professional with a passion for social justice. Her diverse work background includes developing award-winning strategic public media campaigns as well as innovative curriculum for interpersonal communication, teaching youth and adults to communicate constructively through conflict. In her work with Bridge HIV, a global leader in HIV prevention research, Jen developed successful interactive multi-media education campaigns for HIV prevention research. Her work also received international recognition for training communities at high risk for HIV and researchers to work collaboratively. Additionally, she worked with the Kaiser Family Foundation, partnering with MTV, Univision, Fox, and BET to develop and implement creative sexual health messages on multiple media platforms. Jen is an experienced facilitator and dynamic trainer, and was co-Executive Director of Building Bridges, a non-profit organization that creates transformative experiences for young people and adults who seek to build relationships across social divides, such as in Israel and Palestine, and in the United States across race and class.
Jen graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Anthropology, and has a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. She also geeks out over crossword puzzles and Project Runway.
