In Football We Trust

The 2017 Emmy-Award winning In Football We Trust documents the journey of Polynesian families who come to the United States with dreams of a better life. Filmmakers Tony Vainuku and Erika Cohn offer an intimate portrait of the Polynesian community in Utah  adjusting to life in the United States, and grappling with community cohesion, drug addiction, assimilation, education, and economic advancement, with football as one hard-to-reach road out of the cycle of poverty.

In support of ITVS Engagement and their Indie Pop-Up initiative, Blueshift contributed to the Engagement Strategies guide available for the nation-wide screenings of In Football We Trust.
